Create Highlights from AI Summary

Don’t have time to review, clip, and share key moments from your customer call?

Well, say hello to the fastest way to create highlights on Grain. Simply hover over an AI summary point and click the 'highlighter' shortcut. Grain will automatically select the relevant text in the transcript and add a title—allowing you to create a new highlight in one click.

With this update, you can turn hour-long customer conversations into shareable insights in minutes.

Automated AI Titles for Highlights

Clip and share insights faster with automatic AI-powered titles. 

When you select text in the transcript, Grain AI analyzes and summarizes the selected part of the conversation, saving you the hassle of having to come up with your own titles. Use the suggested summary as the title or edit it as you see fit before creating and sharing the highlight.

With AI-powered titles, you can:

• Create and share insights 2x faster.
• Improve the view rate of your highlights by providing a summary. 
• Quickly get an overview of any part of the conversation by selecting the text in the transcript.

Add TL;DR to your Meetings

With the latest update, Grain allows you to add a brief description summarizing your conversation when sharing a meeting link. This way, it’s easier for anyone to quickly understand the key discussion points before jumping in to review the call.

You don’t have to read through the transcripts or spend time writing a tl;dr for your meetings manually. Just check “Include description” before copying the meeting link.

Other Improvements

• AI-generated summaries will be available for all your publicly shared meetings. This means that anyone who can access the meeting can have a brief overview of the conversation just like you.
• We released significant improvements to our transcription service. You should see a noticeable improvement in accuracy, the first of several things we've been working on to improve transcripts.
• Previously, there was a bug that made it challenging to copy the text from the transcript. However, the issue has been resolved, and you can now easily select and copy the transcript text as usual.
• If you update the speaker names in the transcript, the changes will also be reflected in the Timeline's speaker names.
• Grain now handles overlapping highlights gracefully, making it much easier to create them.
• And, 14 small but impactful updates to improve the meeting page experience on Grain.
